FILLERS

Dermal fillers such as Restylane® and RHA® offer a broad spectrum of non-surgical solutions to address diverse cosmetic concerns. These injectables, composed of hyaluronic acid, yield natural-looking results with minimal downtime. Fillers are remarkably effective at replenishing facial volume loss, restoring youthful fullness to cheeks, temples, and under-eye areas. They soften nasolabial folds and marionette lines, reducing the appearance of age-related lines and sagging. Lip fillers enhance thin or asymmetrical lips, providing a balanced, fuller look. Additionally, fillers can smooth vertical lip lines, redefine the jawline, and augment a small chin. They can rejuvenate aging hands, correct tear troughs, and improve acne scars. These treatments deliver immediate and long-lasting results with minimal invasiveness. To ensure optimal outcomes, consulting a qualified medical professional is crucial. OUR FILLERS

RESTYLANE

Restylane is a popular brand of dermal fillers used for non-surgical facial rejuvenation and enhancement. It is composed of a biodegradable and non-animal stabilized hyaluronic acid (HA), a substance naturally found in the human body. HA is known for its ability to retain moisture and add volume to the skin, making it an excellent choice for addressing various cosmetic concerns.

Restylane fillers come in different formulations, each designed to target specific areas of the face and address different concerns. Popular types of Restylane fillers include Restylane-L, Restylane Lyft, and Restylane Kysse.

RHA

RHA filler stands for "Resilient Hyaluronic Acid" filler. It is a type of filler that is specifically designed to mimic the natural movement and flexibility of the skin. RHA fillers are composed of hyaluronic acid (HA), a substance naturally found in the human body that helps maintain hydration and volume in the skin.

What sets RHA fillers apart from traditional HA fillers is the unique cross-linking process used during their production. This cross-linking allows the hyaluronic acid molecules to move and adapt more effectively to facial expressions, making them highly flexible and resilient. As a result, RHA fillers are better able to integrate into dynamic areas of the face, such as around the mouth, without compromising natural facial movements.

FAQS ABOUT FILLERS

RESULTS

People usually see immediate results from fillers after the treatment. The effects become noticeable right away as the filler material is injected into the targeted areas to add volume or fill in wrinkles and lines. Patients can observe the improvements in facial contours, plumper lips, or softened wrinkles immediately following the procedure.

Over the next 2 to 3 weeks following the procedure, the fillers will settle into their final position, and any minor swelling or bruising should resolve completely. During this time, the results continue to refine and achieve a more natural appearance.

For patients considering fillers for specific events or occasions, it is recommended to schedule the treatment at least 2 weeks before the event to allow for any initial swelling to subside and to ensure the best presentation of the final results.

The longevity of filler results varies depending on the type of filler used and individual factors. Generally, fillers last for several months to a year. Regular maintenance treatments are recommended to sustain the desired results over time.

RECOVERY

After receiving filler injections, you may not use any makeup on your skin for the remainder of the day. This is very important as makeup tends to be dirty and can cause an infection. You must also avoid touching the treated areas with your hands or even a cellphone.

You should not massage the treated areas or receive a facial or other treatment for 2 weeks following filler injection. It is advised that you do not travel for 24 hours following your treatment.

While you can resume normal activities, you must avoid intense physical exercise for the remainder of the day. This precaution helps prevent excessive swelling or potential movement of the filler.

SIDE EFFECTS

Serious side effects from filler treatments are rare. Mild side effects may include temporary tenderness, bruising, or swelling at the injection sites. Severe allergic reactions are extremely uncommon but should be reported to your healthcare provider immediately if suspected.

It is common to notice swelling and redness at the injection sites immediately after the treatment. This is a natural response to the injections and usually subsides within a few hours to a day. Applying a cold compress can help reduce swelling and alleviate any discomfort.

Some individuals may experience mild bruising at the injection sites. Bruising, if it occurs, is usually minimal and may be concealed with makeup starting the day after your treatment.
